Public Murals in Chicago Area
2025 – “Geneva Community Mural”, Dodson Place Courtyard, Geneva, IL. The Geneva Chamber of Commerce hired me to lead a team of business owners and community members in a paint-by-number mural project for the city.
2020 – “Aurora Unity Mural”, 210 E Galena Blvd, Aurora, IL. This is a large 15×30′ sign mural created for Aurora Downtown in collaboration with Catalina Diaz. Per the organizations request we invited the community to help us paint. Read about this community mural project here.
2019 – Astronomer Turtle and Quote, 719 South Blvd, Oak Park, IL 60302. Large mural by CTA train line depicting a turtle looking through a vintage telescope, mountains, and the Serbian proverb: “Be humble for you are made of Earth, be noble for you are made of stars.” Read more about this mural project here.
2019 – “Soar” Mural for Domestic Violence Awareness, Water Street Studios, 160 S Water St, Batavia, IL 60510. This was a special project for Mutual Ground, our local domestic violence shelter, to bring awareness to people in need. The mural is of a phoenix type bird powerfully rising up from a chimney to join a supportive community. Helping our community and victims of domestic abuse makes me feel proud. 2018 – Bloom Where You’re Planted Utility Box Mural, 116 W New York St, Aurora, IL, 60506. Large utility box painted on all sides with over-sized bright flowers, inspiring “bloom where you’re planted” quote, and interactive element for photos. Read more about this mural project here.
Open to the Public Murals
2025 – “Hold on to Hope” Mural with stairwell butterflies, Rush Copley Medical Group Family and Sports Medicine, Yorkville, IL. This mural is based on my “Hold on to Hope” artwork that was created in 2020.
2019 – The Yetee Warehouse, 1665 Mallette Rd, Aurora, IL 60505. Open to the public for annual warehouse sale (Check Facebook page for date/time.), or by contacting artist to arrange appointment. Large-scale Pacific Northwest inspired three seasons nature mural in Laura Lynne Art style, including whimsical trees, mountain goats, Douglas squirrels, banana slugs, and bigfoot tracks in the snow.
