“Hold on to Hope.” This colorful illustration with butterflies and caterpillars is a variation of a design I did early in 2020 shortly after quarantine that was used as a poster for the city of Aurora. This updated art was created for a mural proposal design. The caterpillars hold on to the branches and then transform into beautiful butterflies. We are all capable of change, and choosing our own words and actions, and that’s really beautiful to know. ❤️ Love to all of you! ❤️
I was also told by a client that the butterfly is a symbol of the thyroid as the thyroid gland is shaped like a butterfly. The art print was a beautiful reminder the her cancer is gone.
Your print is titled, dated with the year, and signed in the white margin space by me, the artist.
This art is archivally printed with pigment ink on 100% cotton fine art paper meaning the colors will stay vibrant for a few generations with proper care. The sun logo or faint “Laura Lynne Art” watermark will not be on your print. Standard sizes can be matted or slipped into a frame, sometimes with a little trimming around the border.
Frame and mat not included.
This print started as an original mixed media collage or painting, was scanned or photographed, then printed out of my home studio.
I’ll often change the colors in my prints because it changes the mood in the artwork, and it’s fun! I can print up to a 13×19 at home and archivally. If you want a larger size, custom size, or framed art that can be easily arranged. If you want a custom color to match your room or complement your walls, please message me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
