Art Classes & Summer Art Camps for Adults
Do you have a group of 4-5 adults (over 16) that would like to take a 3 day class or “Summer Art Camp” at my studio? Art camps would be a Tuesday-Thursday from 6-8pm in June, July or early August. Let me know a few different weeks that would work for your group when you inquire. Cost is $600 and includes supplies. Laura Lynne’s art studio is located across from Blackhawk Park in Aurora, IL. The studio address is 440 W Galena Blvd, Second Floor, Aurora, IL (sorry, no elevator). Ample parking located behind the building.

About the Art Teacher:
Laura Lynne is best known for creating colorful and whimsical mixed media collages and murals. Since the early age of 8 years old, Laura knew she wanted to be an artist. In high school she studied photography and figure drawing, taking classes at a local college and MIAD. Learning black and white photography and figure drawing influenced her art by creating a strong foundation in light and value. She attended UW-Madison, then UW-Milwaukee where she took a summer to travel around Europe, Egypt and the Mediterranean countries studying art history on location. Laura received her BFA with a concentration in Painting and Drawing from UW-Milwaukee. She kicked off her teaching experience with an artist-in-residence at the DuPage Children’s Museum, then a 4 year artist-in-residence with Indian Prairie School District where she taught classes, summer camps, and workshops in-person and online. In 2023, Laura started teaching grades K-8 and art clubs at a local private school. Laura has called Aurora, IL home since 2008. She is an enthusiastic participant in Aurora’s growing art scene.
