Grateful Dead & Solar Eclipse Inspired Dark Star Print Poster Art
So, on the total solar eclipse our family bought the eclipse glasses, turned on a long version of Dark Star and watched the eclipse. I was inspired and created this digital mashup of two of my artworks for the print – a sun illustration with butterflies and a moon. What do you think? The celestial art print is called “Dark Star with Butterflies”.

Your print is titled, dated with the year, and signed in the white margin space by me, the artist.
This art is archivally printed with pigment ink on 100% cotton fine art paper meaning the colors will stay vibrant for a few generations with proper care. The sun logo or faint “Laura Lynne Art” watermark will not be on your print. Standard sizes can be matted or slipped into a frame, sometimes with a little trimming around the border.
Frame and mat not included.
This print started as an original mixed media collage or painting, was scanned or photographed, then printed out of my home studio.

I’ll often change the colors in my prints because it changes the mood in the artwork, and it’s fun! I can print up to a 13×19 at home and archivally.
