Art Classes, Workshops & Camps Menu
Choose from courses I already have prepared below or have me design custom themed workshops (additional cost for curriculum development) for you. The classes were intended for grades 1-5, but can be easily be adapted to middle through high school or adult. If online or in-person classes are over 1 hour, there will be a break midway through class so kids can move around, have a snack and listen to a book. The workshops that have an optional collaborative art project are starred. Find out more about my art collaborations with elementary and pre-k school students here. Art Reveal Party
Taking time to celebrate artworks created by the students is important. The last day of class for my online classes, I like to have an “Art Show” where kids can have a turn showing the art they made throughout the classes. If you are in the Chicago area, I highly recommend hosting an in-person “Art Party”. Students can create a trifold board with their art on it, then bring it to the party. If you purchased a collaborative artwork, the party is a great time to have an official surprise reveal of the finished artwork and gift a print of the artwork to all of the students. Serve some desserts or make the event as fancy as you’d like. Schools, organizations, or individuals are responsible for planning and hosting any in-person art parties.
Art Field Trips
Field trip logistics are arranged by the school, organization or individuals. Laura Lynne Art, LLC does not plan the field trips. Families or chaperoned students are encouraged to explore the museum at their own pace and Laura will be there to provide optional mini art workshop sessions or mini art activities (if supplies are not allowed in the museum) prescheduled throughout the day.
