Custom Pet Portrait Watercolor Art Paintings

Hello!  Thank you for your interest in my pet portrait paintings.  At this time I  have a commission list.  Please contact me first to get on my commission list.  When I am ready to start your portrait, I will contact you and you can use this listing to purchase your painting.

Please send the following with your order:

1. 2-3 photographs to hello@LauraLynneArt.com.  Photographs should be copyright free (not taken by a professional photographer).  Photographing your pet:  If possible, take your pet outside or in natural light.  Have them sit, then take an in-focus photo of their cute face and shoulders.

2.  Deadline.  Orders may take 3 weeks to 3 months to complete depending on my work load.  Please check with me first if you have a tight schedule.

3.  Background color and/or style information.

• Simple background:  solid color, 2 color wide watercolor stripes, or “watercolor dots” (1 or 2 colors).  See poodle or see below.  Leaving the white paper background looks simply elegant too.
• Complex background:  foliage, flowers, etc…

  

  

4. Is this a surprise for someone?  I like to post photos and stories with my progress so please let me know so I don’t spoil the surprise on social media.

5.  OPTIONAL:  Any other details like your pet’s name, things you love about your pet, etc…  For example, one client loved the little tuft of hair on their dog’s head, fun shaped markings or spots, fluffy ears, etc… Also, if there is anything that is not coming through in the photo, please let me know.  I met a husky with one milky blue eye and one eye that was half milky blue and half brown, but it didn’t show in the photo.

Artworks are created on heavyweight, 100% cotton archival watercolor paper with watercolor, gouache, and/or acrylic details.

Please note that some light pencil lines from the initial drawing may still be visible through the transparent watercolor, though I do my best to erase.

Artwork is carefully packaged and shipped upon completion.
